They’re in and we love them! I designed them with three different options, one of which Adrian approved and we went with. I’m so happy we did, too, because they really do look great
We’re sending them out TODAY! Once all the guests receive theirs, I’ll post a picture on the blog.
Also, Adrian and I started ballroom dance lessons at Panache Dance (HIGHLY recommended to ALL Bloomington brides!!) here in Bloomington last week. We’ve now done two lessons and are REALLY enjoying ourselves! Yes, including Adrian! We’re learning the foxtrot right now and are getting better with each lesson. Although I’ve learned to dance before, I’ve got a LOT to work on as well. I tend to “back lead” and can’t seem to keep myself from doing it! But the more we practice, the more FUN we have and the better we get! Hopefully by the time of the wedding we’ll be superstars on that dancefloor. Aw yeah.
Any other brides & grooms learning how to ballroom dance for their weddings?
That’s it for now!

This Saturday, Sunday and Monday I will be up in NW Indiana bridal gown shopping with my mom! It may not be the first time I’ve worn a wedding gown, since I used to do bridal shows with the salons I worked at, but this will be the first time I’m trying on gowns as a BRIDE! We are soooooo excited! I’m going to keep an open mind and try styles I wouldn’t have considered because that is the advice I used to give brides when I worked at salons.
And don’t forget your water bottle Jenny, or your undergarments…or your camera! Of course, I won’t be posting photos of me in the gowns HERE. No no sir, this is Adrian Territory as much as it is mine, so I will have a secret lair within the World Wide Web where all the Jenny in Bridal Gown photos will lay hidden. Once that is set up and if you want access, you may ask and you shall receive. Unless you’re Adrian. Because even though we’re quite the non-traditional couple, neither he nor I want him to see me in my gown until the day-of. And you never know….any one of the bridal gowns I try on this weekend COULD BE my gown!
So here’s to looking!!

I would say “the countdown begins”, but I will be savoring every last minute of our engagement because I know how fast time flies.
Even so…
